34-year-old Abu Moro is the newly elected Ghana Football Association Chairman of the Northern region of Ghana.
He unseated the previous chairman who had occupied the seat for nearly two decades.
Abu is the youngest man to hold the powerful position in any of the ten regions since independence.
At the start of his campaign, he had no budget except his life savings from his few years as a professional footballer in Europe which ended shortly due to an injury. All he had was a simple but powerful message of hope and dynamic change.
He is expected to build a better Ghana through football.
