Former Ghana youth midfielder, Moses Odjer, has revealed that former Hearts of Oak middleman Adjah Tetteh was his role model when he was growing up.

Adjah Tetteh was regarded as one of the finest midfielders to have played in the Ghana Premier League, as during his stints with Hearts of Oak, he won 12 titles which includes the Ghana Premier League, CAF champions League, CAF Super Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup.

The diminutive combative midfielder who now plies his trade for Italian second-tier side Salernitana came into the scene four seasons ago when he featured for Tema Youth.

And the 20 year-old box-to box midfielder says when he started his footballing career the former Hearts of Oak star man was his role model.

“When I growing up I did not know any international player, but the only one I looked up to was Adjah Tetteh because of manner in which he commanded the midfield for Hearts of Oak.”

“But now, I like to watch Segio Busquets a lot and also Thomas Partey, who is my good friend and a great footballer,” Odjer said on Kwese Free Sports’ Home Run.

Odjer was part of Ghana’s U-20 team that won bronze medal at the 2013 U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
