Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey played part in Atlético Madrid's training match on Wednesday as part of their preseason preparations.
The Ghana star joined his teammates for preseason last week as the La Liga runners up stepped up preparations for next season.
Coach Diego Simeone organised a small match at the end of Wednesday's Atletico Madrid training session, which finished with a 1-0 victory for Angel Correa's side, which had Thomas Partey bossing the middle.
Also on Correa's team were Jan Oblak, Juanfran, Aitor (later replaced by Tachi), Francisco Montero, Andres Solano, Rodri, Vitolo, Lucianno Vietto and Kevin Gameiro, with this being the XI that Simeone has principally worked with as he awaits the return of the club's World Cup participants.
Thomas Partey enjoyed one of his best season in Spain with Atletico Madrid in the last campaign, where he played over half a century of games as well as winning the Europa Cup with the club.
Coach Simeone is keen on keeping the versatile player who is attracting interests from several clubs in Europe.
