Black Stars and Fiorentina midfielder Alfred Duncan has advised Ghanaians to take the necessary precautions to help limit the spread of the Corona Virus in the country.
The Ghana Health Service has so far confirmed a total of 11 cases of the COVID-19 in the West African nation.
All football activities in Europe and Africa has been temporarily halted as authorities look to get to grips with the spread of the deadly virus.
For most people, the coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough.
For others, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia.
The vast majority of people recover from the new virus. According to the WHO, people with mild illness recover in about two weeks. Those with more severe illness may take three to six weeks to recover.
