Alfred Duncan sends farewell message to Sassuolo after Fiorentina switch

Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan has sent goodwill message to former club Sassuolo after completing a winter move to Fiorentina.

The 26-year old joined La Viola on a four year deal after five years with the Nerovredis.

"5 years in Neroverde you have given me a lot, we have spent less beautiful moments but also many beautiful moments. With you I grew up in everything and thanks to you I am what I am today," he posted on Instagram.

Duncan continued, "I gave what I had for the fans, the neroverde family and myself. I leave my teammates who have become brothers on and off the field because we have always done everything as a team. I change colors and the city but I am always one of you. THANK YOU THANK YOU AND THANKS !!! Until we meet again ... GOODBYE NEROVERDE, Sassuolo Calcio."

Duncan scored one goal with five assists in his 13 appearances for US Sassuolo this season.

He has capped eight times for the senior national team of Ghana.
