Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan is facing some anxious moments as he is expected to undergo coronavirus tests after his three team-mates at Italian side Fiorentina tested positive for the deadly disease, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.
As a precautionary measure, the Italian club has asked all players of the squad to undergo tests over the deadly disease that has so far claimed more than 5,000 lives globally.
This is to determine the extent to which the Serie A club has been affected by the disease that is ravaging Italy with thousands said to have been affected by the virus.
Duncac's team-mate, Dusan Vlahovic become the first Fiorentina player to test positive for the coronavirus.
Afterwards, Patrick Cutrone, Argentinian centre-back and Viola captain German Pezzella, as well as physiotherapist Stefano Dainelli all tested positive.
Florence-based club made clear all four of them are in fine conditions, each confined to his own household, every one of them in the city of Florence itself.

“Fiorentina can confirm that Dusan Vlahovic has tested positive for the coronavirus,” Fiorentina said in a statement on Friday evening.
“The player is currently asymptomatic and at home.
“The club are activating all isolation procedures at this time, starting with all of the people who have had contact with the player.”
After weeks of seeing fixtures postponed and interfered with, Serie A has been suspended due to the outbreak.
Italy, additionally, has been put on lockdown with residents urged to stay at home at all times.
A number of Serie A players have tested positive for the virus in recent days, including Daniele Rugani at Juventus and five Sampdoria players.
