Ghana midfielder Alhassan Wakaso has signed a new contract with Portuguese Liga side Vitoria Guimaraes.
Wakaso’s contract with the Conquerors was expected to end this summer but he extended it by two more years on Tuesday April 23, 2019.
The ball-winning enforcer will now stay at the Estadio Afonso Henriques until June 30, 2021.
Wakaso has been ever present in the setup of the Liga Nos side playing 27 games and scoring two goals. He hinted that he will continue doing his best.
“Guimaraes is like a home for me, has been great playing here and I am so happy to continue. I will always give my best for the club.” Wakaso stated.
The Ghana Black Stars defender has previously played for Rio Ave, Portimonense and Lorient.
