Andre Ayew named in English Championship team of the week

Ghana captain, Andre Ayew has been named in Championship team of the week.

Ayew, 30, was impressive for the Swans and was on the scoresheet for Steve Cooper's side in their 3:1 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The former West Ham forward took his goal tally to 13 in the ongoing season for Swansea City as they aim to qualify for Premier League football next season.

Swansea won the game 3-1 at home and their hope of a top-six finish is still on course with just five points behind the top six spot.
