Andre Ayew nominated for Championship Player for the month of December award

Ghana captain Andre Ayew has been nominated for the English Championship Player for the month of December award.

The Swansea City star was in scintillating form last month, netting 5 goals in 6 games to help the Welsh back in the a play offs spot.

Ayew will face competition from Leeds defender Luke Ayling, West Brom keeper Sam Johnstone, Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees, Cardiff midfielder Lee Tomlin and Millwall’s Jed Wallace for the award.
