Bernard Mensah is promising to score more goals for his Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor after opening his league account on Saturday.
The midfielder dinged in a free-kick which bounced in front of goal to beat Fenerbahce goalkeeper Harun Tekin as his side went on to win 3-2 away.
Andre Ayew had given Fenerbahce the lead on 13 minutes with a powerful header.
Mensah lasted 85 minutes of the game with Andre Ayew playing the entire duration.
He later posted on his Twitter page: ''Thank God for my first goal and many more to come .. never give up in life .. #godfirst #nevergiveup #alwaysstriveforgrestness #superstars.''
The 23-year-old is on a season-long move from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
