Kevin-Prince Boateng has not ruled out a return to Serie A side Fiorentina after the expiration of his loan spell at Besiktas.
The former Ghana international managed just 14 appearances and scored one goal at the Stadio Artemio Franchi last season.
Boateng moved to Turkey during the January transfer window for constant game time and managed to score two goals in six league appearances.
The 31-year-old told SportWeek in an interview that he would not hesitate rejoining the Purple and Whites.
"Florence? I have not said that it is over. I have the city in my heart, everyone treated me well and I felt at home.
''I want the fans to remember when I retire as a cool, cool player in the way of dressing and playing, but it is not yet time for regrets. "
Boateng has played for several clubs including Barcelona, AC Milan, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur, Schalke and Las Palmas.
