President of the Ghana National Supporters Union, Abraham Boakye, has said the Black Stars must at all cost qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
According to him, it will be a joyous moment for Ghanaians to see the Black Stars play in their third successive World Cup tournament having exhibited brilliant performances in Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010 respectively.
Ghana's first training session for next month's 2014 World Cup qualifying double against Sudan and Lesotho got underway on Monday morning with ten players.
Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and his colleagues trained under Coach Kwesi Appiah at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Nineteen players departed Accra on Thursday afternoon with head coach Kwesi Appiah after three days of training in Accra.
Mohammed Rabiu and Jonathan Mensah, Solomon Asante, Richard Kissi-Boateng, Harrison Afful and Mubarak Wakaso are expected to join their colleagues in Ethiopia from France.
Speaking on Adom FM before the departure of the Black Stars squad, Abraham Boakye aka One Man Supporter said: “We thank God the Black Stars will be setting up camp in Ethiopia ahead of their World Cup qualification. We pray that they return with the six points”.
