Black Stars wallop lower division side Asokwa Depotivo in friendly

The Black Stars defeated lower division side Asokwa Depotivo 6-1 in a low profile friendly on Wednesday.

The game was used as a test match ahead of Sunday’s Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia.

A brace each from Majeed Waris and Raphael Dwamena plus strikes by Jordan Ayew and Frank Acheampong saw the Black Stars wallop the division one side.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his lads will continue their build-up tomorrow at the Babayara Sports Stadium ahead of the game on Sunday.
