German-born Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu got off the mark on his unofficial debut for Dutch outfit PEC Zwolle after netting in their pre-season friendly against Venezia.
Manu registered his name on the scoresheet after just two minutes as the Eredivisie side took the lead in their final warm-up game.
However, the lead lasted only 14 minutes after Venezia attacker Christian Gytkjaer latched home inside the box to level for the Italians.
Nicholas Pierini netted the winner for the Serie A outfit with five minutes remaining.
Manu joined Zwolle in the summer transfer window after his contract with German outfit SV Darmstadt ended at the end of June.
He is expected to play a key role at the Dutch club in the upcoming season and could make his debut in the league opener against FC Utrecht.
