Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed to loan Ibrahim Osman to Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord for the upcoming season.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian, who joined Brighton from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland on a five-year deal this summer, was part of the Premier League's pre-season squad and made a couple of appearances.
However, in a move to further his development, Osman will spend the season at Feyenoord.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the loan deal does not include a buy option, and Brighton will cover Osman's full wages.
He is set to undergo his medical on Tuesday, with an official presentation scheduled for Wednesday.
Osman impressed during his time in Denmark, where he recorded six goals and seven assists in 26 games.
This loan move to Feyenoord is seen as an opportunity for him to gain valuable experience, similar to the development paths taken by Brighton players Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra, who also benefited from loan spells before joining the first team.
