The Celta Vigo B midfielder believes that he will get an opportunity to play for the Black Stars when the time comes.
The Black Meteors skipper was left out of CK Akonnor's 23 man squad for the double header against Sudan in the AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
When he was asked about it, he revealed that CK told him that he was not ready to play for the senior national team yet.
In his recent interview with Daily Graphic, he mentioned the good relationship he has with the coach amid his omission and added that he will be called when the time comes.
"CK Akonnor is a great coach and he is like a father to me. He coached me during my formative years at Right to Dream Academy and he knows me so well. When the time is due, he will call me."
