Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban scored and set up another on his competitive debut for English Championship side Leeds United on Wednesday night when they defeated Port Vale 4-1 on the League Cup competition.
Ekuban, who joined Leeds United in the summer from the Albanian top-flight, scored with right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner.
The 23-year-old scored in the 83 minute of the game to seal the emphatic victory for Leeds United in the Curabao Cup to establish his credentials with at Leeds United.
Ekuban assisted in Leeds' second goals against Port Vale as he set up Sáiz Alonso's second goal on his competitive first start for Leeds.
Alonso scored the a hat-trick in the game as they sealed the good victory showing a good partnership with Ekuban.
Saiz marked his Leeds debut with a hat-trick as the Championship side overcame Port Vale in the the EFL Cup.
The Spanish midfielder slotted home his first after Stuart Dallas' cross came back off the post.
Michael Tonge sent Vale in level at half-time following a long throw, but Saiz rounded the keeper for his second and then fired into the top corner.
Ekuban converted a cross to make it four before Vale's Gavin Gunning was sent off for a second yellow card.
