Championship pundit reveals secret to Albert Adomah's form
Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah is in rich scoring form because he doesn’t play like a traditional wide-man.
That is according to Championship pundit Keith Andrews, who has hailed the 29-year-old’s smart positioning on the pitch.
Adomah bagged five goals in three games to take his total for the season to 11 before drawing a blank against Leeds United on Friday.
''He gives them a nice balance,'' ex-Blackburn midfielder Andrews said on Sky Sports.
''When the ball is on the right-hand side, he is coming in to make that second striker alongside Davis.
''He’s getting into the areas of the pitch where you’re going to score goals.
''Too often wingers stay wide, chalk on their boots, they need to get into the danger areas.
''He’s at that age now, 29, where he’s got that little bit of composure, a little bit of luck at times, but he’s got the composure, left foot, right foot, to slot past the keeper.''
