Chelsea FC Bronx wins two games in Maryland

Maryland, USA -- Chelsea FC is gradually becoming a household name in the USA and the rest of

the world is watching closely. Having had a game with NY Red Bull Academy

in which they lost, they learnt immensely from their loss and regrouped for

their next matches. They have played two subsequent matches and won. Their

two strong opponents were Africa United and Tiger FC.

On Saturday; Sept. 13th, Chelsea FC played the first game with Africa

United. It was a tough game but eventually Chelsea FC beat Africa United

FC; 2:1. The impressive two goals for Chelsea FC came from Mohammed who had

arrived from Ghana a few weeks prior to the game.. He was very skillful

and also his amazing first touch changed the direction of the game. With

the ball at his feet he became stronger, faster with a great finish. His

Manager has labeled him as; "The Next Ronaldo Luis Naz?rio de Lima".

On Sunday, September 14, Chelsea FC had their second game with Tiger FC.

Tiger FC took the lead and scored their first goal in the first half. They

also had a penalty kick saved by Chelsea's keeper; Dennis Amoateng.

In the second half, Chelsea FC scored three goals and maintained their lead

till the end. Chelsea Bronx FC eventually won their two away games They

had indeed learnt a lot from their previous loss with the NY Academy Red

Bulls.

Alex Kwapong, a big soccer fan and enterpreneur from Bronx, New York had a

dream of owning a Soccer/Football team in America. After a few years, the

dream has become a reality after spotting young men who have talents and can

"play ball . Chelsea Bronx FC is the only African owned team with a

connection to the US major league soccer. Kwapong is gradually grooming

unknown players with talents from the big apple to play professionally and

thereby becoming future soccer superstars. One of his players a member of

the Sierra Leone national team. The team coach is; Joe Wasa, Ex player in

the Ghanaian Premier League.
