Chelsea winger Hudson-Odoi has opened up on why he signed a new contract with the club despite being heavily linked to German giants Bayern Munich.
According to the 18-year-old, Frank Lampard's impact on the team after the departure of Maurizio Sarri is what influenced his decision to stay at the club.
The England international winger has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal at the club, just six months on from what appeared an inevitable exit.
‘The only thing [that has changed] is that we’ve got a more positive vibe in the changing room and on the pitch,’ Hudson-Odoi told the Evening Standard.
‘We are all happy I think because the manager has come in, he used to be a great player himself at the club, and now he has come in and we all give respect to what he has done for the club before.
‘I think the camp now is just more happy, more positive,’ he added.
