Ghana winger Emmanuel Boateng remains confident his move to the Chinese Super League will not jeopardize his international prospects.

The 22-year-old is the latest talent to make the leap from Europe to China after joining Dalian from Spanish outfit Levante.

The deal will massively improve the earning of the Ghana international winger as the salary will be eight times more than what he currently earns at Levante.

Boateng has had limited playing opportunities in the ranks of Granotas this terms and will try his luck in the Asian country while massively improving his bank balance.

However, there are fears his decision to blank Europe for China will have consequences on the international level with Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah likely to take his eyes off him.

Playing club football outside Europe means, he will need to do more to catch the eye of the Ghanaian gaffer ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

But remains confident he will gatecrash the squad after being capped 3 times while at Levante.

"I have always had contact with my national team coach. I was injured in Spain, so I can't guarantee my playing time in La Liga. I hope that in the Super League I can show my best side to the fans and score more goals. The national team has always been open to the best players. If the performance is good enough, then I have no problem with the national team." he told the club's official website.

The man shot to international prominence after destroying Barcelona last season with a hat-trick that broke the unbeaten record of the Catalan giants.
