Crystal Palace is set to decide on the long-term future of Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Boateng.
Boateng, 21, has impressed in pre-season with the English side since returning on loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Northampton Town.
And the club's developmental coach Richard Shaw has revealed a decision on the Ghanaian will be taken sooner rather than later.
“Hiram has been terrific all pre-season, I have to say,” Shaw told the Croyden Advertiser
“He has come back off of his loan and his attitude has been first class. I am sure in the next couple of weeks we will know where Hiram is in terms of whether he is going out on loan again or whether he stays. But he is probably at an age now where he needs to go and play league football.
“But he has been a real major plus for us in pre-season, helping out the younger lads.”
