David Abagna on target for CS Petrocub in win over FC Sheriff Tiraspol

Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna proved instrumental for CS Petrocub in their crucial win against FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the Moldovan Super Liga Championship.

The former Real Tamale United captain was called to action on Sunday when his outfit played host to Sheriff in the round seven fixture.

Abagna delivered a masterful performance to help his outfit snatch the three maximum points against their opponent.

Petrocub got the lead after Mihail Platica fired home the opening goal four minutes into the game. The home team went to the halftime break with the advantage.

After recess, the former Black Galaxy midfielder scored the winner to seal victory for his side.

Sheriff managed to pull one back through Ibrahim Akanbi, two minutes to full-time.
