Ghana striker David Manuel Opoku will be in Europe with Qatari side Mauither SC on a pre-season tour ahead of the coming domestic campaign.
Opoku, 25, joined the newly-promoted Qatari Stars league club on a two-year deal on Monday after completing his medicals in Doha.
The former Ghana National Under 23 forward hinted that he will be in Europe with his club on pre-season before the Qatari topflight league begins.
“I and my team will be going to Europe next week for a pre-season tour,” Opoku told Footballmadeinghana.com
“We will play trial games against clubs in Austria, Bosnia and I think Italy,”
The 6 feet 4 inches gangling attacker has previously featured for the youth team of Chelsea in England as well MYPA in Finland and Lebanese side El Egtmaeey.
