Ghanaian winger Fatawu Issahaku has been recognized as the second player with the most one-on-ones in the Championship, according to Sky Sports.
Issahaku's impressive performance on the field with a total of 399 has earned him a spot just below his teammate, Stephy Mavididi, who leads the list with a total of 447.
The report further reveals that Sunderland's Jack Clarke comes in third with 372, followed by Hull City's Jaden Philogene with 324. Leeds United's Dan James secures the fifth position with 209 one-on-ones.
Fatawu Issahaku's skillful play and ability to take on opponents in one-on-one situations made a significant contribution to his team's success.
His impact was also felt profoundly as he notched up an impressive tally of six goals from the wing. Among his standout performances was a wonderful hat-trick in Leicester's dominant 5-0 victory over Southampton.
However, Issahaku's influence extended beyond scoring goals; his creative flair resulted in 13 assists throughout the season, cementing his status as one of Leicester's key playmakers.
The 20-year-old made his club debut in the Championship just three days after signing, coming on as a 54th-minute substitute in a 1–0 home loss to Hull City.
He quickly established himself as a key player for the Foxes, scoring his first goal for the club in a 3–1 away win against Swansea City on 21 October 2023.
Leicester City remains engaged in negotiations with Sporting Lisbon regarding a potential permanent transfer.
