Bernard Tekpetey won't be in action as Bundesliga returns this weekend
Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey has been ruled out of Fortuna Dusseldorf's Bundesliga match against Paderborn this weekend due to injury, according to club's coach Uwe Rosler.
Tekpetey will be on the sidelines as the top-flight makes a comeback for the first time in two months due to the coronavirus outbreak in the world.
This was confirmed by Uwe Rosler on Thursday at a pre-match press conference.
"For Dawid Kownacki, Bernard Tekpetey and Zack Steffen the game comes too early after their injuries," he said.
The club is currently battling relegation as they sit just one position above the dreaded zone with 11 matches left to play.
The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Schalke 04, he has made nine league appearances so far this season.
