Derrick Sasraku was on target for Club Africain
Ghanaian forward Derrick Sasraku registered his name on the scoresheet for Club Africain as they defeated Rwandan side Armée Patriotique Rwandaise FC in the CAF Champions League on Tuesday.
Tunisia forward Bilel Khefifi fetched the opener for Club Africain on the 14th minute after largely dominating the early stages of the game but Muhadjir Hakizimana pulled parity for the visitors on the 28th minute via penalty.
But the Tunisian giants restored their lead on the 64th minute through Sasraku before an own goal from Emmanuel Imanishimwe sealed a comfortable win for Club Africain.
The win helped Africain advance to the next round of the competition with a 3-1 aggregate after drawing goalless last week.
Club Africain with 3-1 aggregate score makes it through to the next round of the competition.
Sasraku joined the Tunisian side as a free agent from Ghanaian side Aduana Stars in August.
