Ghana's David Accam named in MLS team of the week

Black Stars forward David Accam has been named in the Major League Soccer team of the week after putting up a sterling show in Chicago Fire’s League opener against Columbus Crew.

Accam, whose performance earned him the man-of-the-match award, got his name also into the MLS team of the week.

The 26-year-old attacker grabbed his first goal of the season to help his side secure an away point after scoring in the 1-1 draw.

The Ghanaian was named the best player for Chicago Fire last season and has already scored his 20th League goal for the Club since joining two seasons ago.
