Ghanaian defender Gideon Jung marked his debut for Germany in their 1-0 win over England in an international friendly last Friday.
The 21-year-old played his first match for the Under 21's as they outclassed England in preparations for this summer's European Under-21 Championship.
U21 coach Stefan Kuntz handed the Ghanaian international a call up following his superb form for Hmaburg SV in the German Bundesliga.
Jung had already earned call two ups into the U21 side but was yet to kick a ball until last Friday.
Gideon is however available for the Black Stars as he is yet to play for the senior side of the current world champions.
