Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong has been identified as a transfer alternative by English Premier League side Everton, according to a report by Liverpool Echo.
The Toffees look to sign a right-back in the summer when the loan spell of Djibril Sidibe comes to an end.
The 19-year-old is impressing on the right side of the Celtic defence despite his young age.
Signed from Manchester City for an initial fee of just £350,000 over the summer, the 19-year-old has already made waves in Glasgow, making 14 appearances in the league for the Bhoys as well as lining out in the first leg of their Europa League second-round tie with FC Copenhagen.
Frimpong is probably more of a future prospect than an immediate starter for Everton right now but things change quickly in football and maybe the young defender can be the man sooner rather than later.
Other players identified include Moroccan Achraf Hakimi and Algerian Youcef Atal.
