Ghana forward Elvis Manu has been handed a two-match ban and fined 6000 Euros in Turkey for hitting an opponent during the Akhisarspor -Kasimpasa Turkish cup game.
The incident was not noticed by referee Arda Kardesler but upon a review by the Disciplinary committee of the Turkey Football Federation (TFF), Manu has been suspended for two games and also fined.
Akhisarspor have one week to appeal against the ban and the subsequent fine but the Ghanaian will miss this weekend’s clash with with Trabzonspor.
