Relegation threatened outfit Vitesse have been given a major boost after seeing Mathew Amoah make his return for the club's youth side on Monday without the player feeling any ill side-effects.
The 23-year-old forward, who has been Vitesse's top scorer for the past 3 seasons, has been out of action for most of the season with a serious knee injury.
After the clash with amateur side Bennekom Amoah stated on Dutch provincial TV station 'Omroep Gelderland' "I haven't had any reaction in the knee. I feel fine. I still have to get used to competition, but the knee feels good again."
