The manager of Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has rubbished claims on social media that the UAE-based attacker was involved in a car accident in Accra on Thursday.
News spread like wildfire on Thursday when it was reported on social media that the Al Ain striker was involved in a car accident while recovering from the disappearance of his friend Castro.
But his personal manager Samuel Anim Addo vehemently denied that report insisting that Black Stars captain has not been involved in any motor accident as been speculated on social media.
Speaking on Peace FM, Addo stated categorically that Asamoah Gyan was not involved in any accident and that he is in a very good condition, apart from the emotional stress he is going through after fears of the death of his close friend and musician Castro after he drowned ten days ago.
According to Samuel Anim Addo, Asamoah Gyan’s management is trying to motivate and convince him to join his Al Ain teammates for pre season tour before the commencement of the league season.
He has therefore pleaded with the general public to rubbish any accident rumour concerning the Black Stars captain.
