English-born Ghanaian international Callum Hudson-Odoi has wished compatriot Tariq Lamptey the best of luck after he switched camps to join Brighton and Hove Albion last week.
Tariq who joined the Blues as a teenager came through the academy ranks of the club before recently breaking into the senior team under new boss Frank Lampard. Though he is not a regular, he has been given a run in the team as one of the young lads from the academy.
In a shocking development, the youngster secured a transfer to Brighton on transfer deadline day last Thursday as he indicated that he believes the new side offers a better platform to that of Chelsea.
After making the switch, he took to his social media to pen a goodbye message to the Chelsea team. Responding to the message, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham have both wished the defender the best of luck in his next adventure.
