Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has said he is prepared to thwart all efforts by Cristiano Ronaldo when the Black Stars take on Portugal at the 2014 World Cup.
The 28-year-old said he was happy Ronaldo won the Ballon D’or because he would end up getting the plaudits for silencing the best player at the World Cup.
“I am always happy to play against the best in the world, because when I do well against them, I will get the credit,” Dauda told Accra-based Asempa FM.
“I am ready to save all his shots when we meet Portugal in Brazil,” the former Ashgold keeper opined.
Dauda made his debut in the South African league on Saturday when Pirates lost 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
