Former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey has expressed his regret after fighting against Gabriel Rosado in their 10-round middleweight bout Saturday at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York.
The grand-master thinks his greatest regret is not the lost to Rosado but the weight in which he fought his younger opponent.
“I am surprised I lost the fight on my own way but I have learnt a lot from this bout," Clottey told Starr Sports.
"My real age is 38 years and I think I am fighting with my real age and I fought 29 years old boy and comparatively he was stronger and I was weak and I believe I will hang my gloves at the age of 40”, he told Starr Sports
