FIFA U-20 FIFA World Cup winner, Samuel Inkoom has expressed excitement after signing a short-term deal with Bulgarian top flight side FC Dunav Ruse.
The former FC Basel defender penned down a short term deal with the Bulgarian side and was unveiled on Tuesday after a successful training spell with the team on Monday.
Inkoom was banned in 2017 by the World Football governing body for a breach of contract with his agent Andrew Evans for failing to pay his part of the transfer fees to Dnipro from FC Basal in 2014.
The 29-year-old was free to return to the field after the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) lifted the ban on him early this year.
Inkoom will be hoping to enjoy more playing time at his new club in his bid to make Ghana Coach Kwasi Appiah’s final 23- man squad for this year’s AFCON.
It always seems impossible until it is done. A new dawn, a new day, a new chapter. It feels great to sign for FC Dunav Ruse. pic.twitter.com/hjTsEXTTWu
