Out of favour Accra Hearts of Oak Captain Inusah Musah feels disrespected by the club with regards to issues surrounding his contract expiration.
The towering defender explains he approached the management of the club about his soon-to-expire contract but the club have been reluctant in their approach to resolve his current situation.
The 24 year old added the figures quoted for a new contract is woefully inadequate for a player of his stature.
"I approached them personally to inform them of my soon-to-expire contract. I've been to the secretariat on five occasions but it is evident that they don't need my services with the figures they are quoting," he told Kumasi FM.
“I think they just want to sack me, as a captain of the team, I don't deserve such figures from them. I've marketed myself enough and I deserve better than the offer they are giving me. Reserved players are taking better than what they are offering me. This is my future and the figures quoted by you(GHC15,000 a year ) isn't enough,' he added.
Inusah Musah has struggled with injuries this season limiting the number of games he has played for the club. However, when he is fit he is one of the outstanding players of the club.
Accra Hearts of Oak are also endurinng a terrible campaign after finishing the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League on 12th position.
