Ghana forward David Accam has hailed his former coach Graham Potter following his appointment as manager of Swansea City.
The 43-year-old has been named as the new manager of English Championship side, Swansea City following the departure of Carlos Carvalhal.
Accam was spotted by Potter during his playing days in the English seventh-tier playing for Evesham United.
“I think is an amazing move for Graham Potter. He has worked really hard and he deserves to coach at the top.” the Philadelphia Union striker told footballmadeinghana.com
“He is a coach who likes to play beautiful and passing soccer. He needs to be given enough time to build his own team and also get the full backing from the management and fans,” he added.
Potter has been hailed for his man-management style - which many pundits in Sweden believe it has brought the best out of players such as Samuel Mensah and Frank Arhin at Ostersunds FK.
He could work with Jordan and Andre Ayew should they decide to stay and qualify the Welsh-based side to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
