Juventus latest to join race for Atletico star Partey

Italian Serie A title holders Juventus are the latest to join Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to sign Ghana international Thomas Partey from La Liga giants Atletico de Madrid.

The 1.82 m midfielder, 26, has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium with defender Sokratis fueling the speculations about the move.

And amongst the positions that Arteta has plans of bolstering is central-midfield, with the Gunners poised to lose on-loan Real Madrid man Dani Ceballos in the near future once his season-long loan deal expires.

It will have no, doubt, boosted Arsenal supporters’ hopes of landing the midfielder, who could be signed for £43.5million this summer.

Meanwhile Italian giants Juventus have joined the race to land the midfielder as manager Maurizio Sarri eyeing the Ghanaian to bolster his midfield.

Juventus feel midfielder Blaise Matuidi is out of gas and would want to add the player to their ranks.
