Karela United striker Diawisie Taylor has hailed his teammates after snatching a late victory over AshantiGold to set a tie with Asante Kotoko in the finals of the NC Special Competition Tier One.
The Aiyinase-based club defied odds to beat the Miners at their own backyard to qualify to finals of the Special Competition.
Diawisie Taylor scored his tenth goal of the season late in the game to secure a memorable victory for Karela United.
Speaking to the media after the game, Taylor lauded his teammates for putting up a great fight against a difficult Ashanti Gold side in Obuasi.
“Playing AshGold at the Len Clay is always difficult, our motive coming here is to pick a win and glory be to God we were able to accomplish our mission”
“We thank our fans, management and all who gave a helping hand in the attainment of this victory and to my teammates thanks for helping me score the winner and the hard work we all put together”
Taylor has been linked in a move to Asante Kotoko which the player has refused to comment on.
