Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has told Kenya they will be pummeled in the return leg clash of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Black Stars suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to the Harambee Stars on Saturday at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
A Nicholas Opoku own goal gifted the home side the team which gave them their first points in Group F after losing their opener 2-1 at Sierra Leone.
Ahead of the return fixture in March next year, Partey has told the Kenyans they would be annihilated in Ghana.
''Kenyans should come up with a basket in Ghana (to carry the many goals they will concede),'' the Atletico Madrid star told Nairobi News at his team’s hotel on Sunday.
But Partey praised the Sebastien Migne's side for the solid defensive display on Saturday.
''They played well. Kenya is a solid team with tactical discipline and each player sticks to his role. But we should have won the game with the chances we got.''
