Kotoko Pay $10,000 For Brazilian

The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has signed on Brazilian player, Gleisson De Souza Ferreira for a reported transfer fee of $10,000.

The Brazilian midfielder finally made the Asante Kotoko team after an initial rejection by former coach, Hans Dieter Schmidt.

Souza Ferreira has also completed the signing of the Kotoko?s African card.

However, his counterparts Fabio Louis Rodrigues da Silva and striker Uly De Castro Rodrigues could not make the porcupine grade and have been sent back to Brazil.

Former Kotoko German trainer Hans Dieter Schmidt dismissed the Brazilian trio after a short trial stint with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The players featured for the first 45 minutes for the club in their goalless drawn international friendly match against the Under-21 side of Benin at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra some weeks back.
