Former Hearts of Oak striker, Charles Taylor, has lauded Black Starlets coach, Laryea Kingston, placing him in the leagues of some of Ghana's legendary coaches.

Taylor placed Kingston in the esteemed company of Emmanuel Afranie and Sam Arday, two coaches whose remarkable achievements are deeply ingrained in Ghanaian football lore.

The Ghana Premier League icon is of the opinion that Kingston has surpassed the level of the Black Starlets and is deserving of a higher position, potentially as the manager of the Black Stars.

Taylor asserts that Kingston's coaching acumen is superior to that of Otto Addo.

He also suggested that if Addo was deemed fit for the Black Stars' coaching role, then Kingston merits an even greater opportunity.

While speaking on Angel TV, Taylor clarified that he is not calling for Otto |Addo's dismissal, but rather stating that Kingston could extract more from the current Black Stars squad than Addo has managed it so far.

"Laryea Kingston's capabilities extend beyond the Under-17 level. If Otto Addo can lead the Black Stars, then Kingston should certainly not be limited to the U-17s. He is deserving of more.

"Kingston is not just in a different class; he embodies football tactics. A coach must be able to command his players to execute his strategies. Under Kingston's guidance, the Black Stars would likely be netting seven goals per match," he added.

He continued that "Kingston has the potential to transform the Black Stars and elevate their gameplay significantly.

"Kingston is unique, and I have full confidence in him. He shares the caliber of Afranie and coach Arday, understanding how to unify a team."

Kingston has received widespread praises following the Black Starlets' 5-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the WAFU Zone B championship opener.

The team's synergy and tactical understanding under Kingston's leadership have garnered immense accolades from Ghanaians, who are impressed with the performance of the Starlets.
