Liverpool interested in Jordan Ayew but face competition from Celtic

Liverpool are interested in signing Jordan Ayew this summer but Celtic are leading the race for the Ghanaian international.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium following his side’s relegation from the Premier League.

He was top scorer for the Swans this term with 11 goals and was named Players’ Player of the season.

Liverpool have given the player some consideration but insists the more serious interest has come from Brendan Rodgers.
