Another listless performance, this time against Ebusua Dwarfs, cost Asante Kotoko maximum points and fueled fans concern over head coach Zdravko Logarusic’s tactical prowess.

It was not the sort of display the under-fire Logarusic anticipated after promising irate fans who almost prevented him from training the team on Thursday an impressive victory.

But Dwarfs deserved the point and even more, denied by goalie Felix Annan, who made three wonderful saves in the latter stages.

The away side's game plan worked to perfection. They were confident and resolute at the back which was enough to leave the Porcupine Warriors without a win in last five games.

Dwarfs had a perfect start to the first half, rattling the bar courtesy former Hearts striker Ibrahim Musah before referee correctly disallowed goals by Amos Frimpong and Kwame Boahene as the two were in offside.

However, Kotoko were brilliant in the first 15 minutes of the second half and should have scored. First, Emmanuel Gyamfi’s strike destined for the back of the net was blocked before Kwame Boateng's shot from close range painfully missed the target. Dwarfs then turned the game around and came close to scoring.

Felix Annan on 72 minutes stretched to his limit to prevent Christopher Bonney’s grounder from going in and did again to deny a powerful volley by Joseph Esso.

Kotoko remain second but four points behind leaders WAFA and a point above Aduana who have tow games in hand.
