VfL Osnabrück have received a significant injury boost as defender Maxwell Gyamfi has returned to training after recovering from a respiratory illness.
Gyamfi's return comes just in time for the final week of preparations, having missed the short-term training camp in Wolfsburg and the final preparations against Eintracht Braunschweig last week.
The 24-year-old defender resumed training on Tuesday morning and is expected to be a key figure in the team's upcoming match against Sandhausen on Saturday.
Gyamfi, who joined the club in June 2022, made his competitive debut in a 1-0 victory over MSV Duisburg on July 22, 2022. He further solidified his commitment to the club by signing a contract extension in November 2022.
