Kumasi Asante Kotoko assistant coach, Micheal Osei has promised to upgrade his players with the new trends of the game after returning from a brief coaching course in Germany recently.

The ambitious assistant trainer returned from an attachment course in Germany, where he teamed up with other developing coaches to upgrade their technical and tactical knowledge on the game.

Coach Osei admitted to the turbulent season his charges went through but promised to make amends in the upcoming season.

The confident speaking “Micky” as he is known in the football circles expressed his readiness to give back to his players and mother Ghana as a whole.

The assistant trainer also used the platform to welcome new players into their fold.

According to him, “Everything went well with my Germany trip. It was an attachment programme and everything was practical. I will give back what I have learnt in Germany to Kumasi Asante Kotoko and the country as a whole. It is an experience that will help develop me as a coach”.

“It is the second time I am having a trip to Germany after first enjoying similar programme in 2012. I keep learning everyday and my players know what it means to them. I will share what I have gained with the playing staff when we meet.

I also want to use this opportunity to wish the new players best of luck as it is not easy to play for kumasi Asante Kotoko.”

Micheal Osei returned from an attachment program in Germany where he was joined by a team of experts in the game to upgrade their technical delivery.
