FC Nordsjaelland missed the services of Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Kudus in their one nil defeat to FC Copenahgen in their Danish home game.
Kudus was sent off in their last match and had to serve the suspension as a result of the card.
FC Nordsjælland look to other players who should have stepped up.
Mikkel Damsgaard tried his best to fill the gaping void left by the Ghanaian attacker but his efforts was not enough.
Damsgaard laid a few passes to his teammates and had good efforts on target but it was glaring that the influence of the mercurial Mohammed Kudus was missing from the whole set up.
Senegalese International Dame Ndoye grabbed the only goal which proved to be the winner for the away side in the game.
Veteran Mikkel Rygaard was expected to lead the line with his vast experience but he failed woefully in that regard.
His efforts was not enough to guarantee the needed results as the least said about Carlos Zeca the better as he could hardly hold onto the ball to bring his teammates into play.
The Danish side solely missed their most inform and important Mohammed Kudus who sat out the game due to suspension.
Mohammed Kudus has scored seven goals in 14 appearances for Nordsjaelland this season.
