Mubarak Wakaso has expressed delight after Deportivo Alaves opening day victory over Levante in the Spanish top-flight league on Sunday.

The Ghanaian international played the entire duration to help the Blue and Whites to a narrow 1-0 win at the Mendizorroza stadium.

Joselu scored the match-winner with a cracking header on his competitive debut for Alaves.
